Although many physicians care for pregnant women on dialysis, there is broad agreement that this condition is rather uncommon and that planned pregnancies while undergoing dialysis are not advisable. While it is essential to be conscious of both the maternal and foetal risks, there are also happy stories to tell. In our current article, two women recount the challenges of pregnancy while having CKD.
