Remember the hygiene measures

Wearing a mask and correct hand hygiene is important.

Reduce the risk, by wearing a mask:

  • Before you leave your house. Wash your hands before putting on your mask.
  • While you are on the way to and during your entire stay at the dialysis clinic. Taking of the mask near others should be avoided, even when drinking and eating.
  • While you are in contact with other people and other environments such as grocery shopping, at work,  stopping at your child’s school or going to the bank.
  • While you visit relatives or a friends. Everyone can contain the virus without knowing. Show your care by protecting each other.

 

Reduce the risk, by washing your hands:

  • Before you start your day. Wash your hands when you get up and before any contact with other members of your family or your environment.
  • Before you do any food preparation or if you need to give first aid in the home.
  • After contact with other people and other environments such as grocery shopping, stopping at your child’s school, visiting a relative or a friend at the hospital, or going to the bank.
  • After going to the toilet – every time! 
  • After any activity at home such as preparing food, housework, taking out the trash, gardening, and any contact with your pets.
