Directions

Finely grate the peel of the 2 untreated lemons and put into a glass carafe.
Then bring the 250 ml tap water to the boil and pour it over the peel.
Allow the yellow liquid to cool and then strain through a sieve. Stir in the honey to the still lukewarm liquid (<40 °C) so that it can dissolve well.
Press out the juice of the lemons and add to the lemon-honey liquid.
After it has cooled completely, fill with the mineral water.
You can also finely chop lemon balm or mint and add to taste.
And the lemonade with honey is ready.
When grating the lemon peel, be careful to use the yellow part only, since the white part tastes bitter.

Nutrition Tips

On very hot days, you can fill the lemonade in ice-cube trays and suck the lemonade as ice cubes across the day - in this way, the lemonade is really cold and the refreshment lasts longer without having to drink a lot more (of course, you have to add the ice cubes to your fluid count as well).
