NephroCare Academy

Education for NephroCare clinic staff

NephroCare Academy has been established to support physicians, nurses, clinic managers and non-clinical staff with a wide range of learning modalities and topics, enabling them to offer the highest quality of care throughout their employment.

NephroCare staff has to be enrolled by the responsible Education manager, in order to complete the course and receive the credits.

NephroCare offers accredited physicians` training

“Blood Pressure (BP) Management in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)” is the title of the first educational course receiving accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education Institution (EACCME) of the UEMS (European Union of Medical Specialists) in Brussels. The completion of all modules of the e-learning course will allow NephroCare physicians to collect 7 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.

The course is part of the NephroCare Academy, our overall educational approach for NephroCare clinic staff.

Medical Education as an important tool for optimizing patient care

In addition, it is NephroCare`s understanding that a continuing education and training programme, which is set-up according to international treatment guidelines and the high NephroCare treatment standards, will help to further improve medical performance at the clinics. In the end this will lead to a further improved patient care which is NephroCare`s central ambition.

Dr. Stefano Stuard, Head of the CoE Clinical & Therapeutical Governance team and main author of the course says: “This is a very important step for us and we are very pleased that we can now support our physicians in this way.”
